Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Future Topper collects through futuretopper.com, why, and the choices you have. We never sell your data.

1. Data we collect

Account details: name, email address, phone number if you choose to add one, and the exams you choose.
Test data: your answers, time spent on each question, scores, attempts and review marks.
Payment details: plan, amount, currency and a payment reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we do not store them.
Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, pages visited and error logs.
Messages: emails, feedback and reviews you send us.

2. Why we use it

To run your account, tests and analysis.
To process payments and provide the plan you bought.
To improve papers, fix errors and keep the site secure.
To send service emails (receipts, password resets). We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

3. Legal basis and consent

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you create an account, and for legitimate uses allowed by law, such as preventing fraud. You can withdraw consent at any time; this will stop future processing but may mean we cannot provide the service.

4. Children

Many of our users prepare for exams while under 18. For users under 18, we require verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before processing their data. We do not track, profile or target advertising at children. When you sign up, we ask whether you are under 18. If you are, we ask for a parent or guardian's email address and activate the account only after they confirm consent.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, under contract and only for that purpose:

Razorpay, for payments
Our cloud hosting provider, which stores the site and your data securely
Our email delivery provider, for receipts and account emails
Our analytics provider, which measures site usage in aggregate

futuretopper.com and futuretopper.in operate independently of each other, so account and progress data is not shared between them. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your currency, and analytics cookies that tell us in aggregate how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are needed to stay signed in.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment invoices.

8. Your rights

You can ask to:

see a summary of the data we hold about you;
correct or complete inaccurate data;
erase your data;
nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot;
raise a grievance with us.

Email support@futuretopper.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews to protect your data. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

10. Grievance Officer

Email the Grievance Officer at support@futuretopper.com with "Grievance" in the subject line. We acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

11. Changes

We will post any change here and, for significant changes, tell you by email before it takes effect.
